American Traveler is hiring an experienced MICU RN for a night shift position requiring ACLS, BLS, and ventilator management skills.

• Work in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU)
• Night shift schedule of 3x12 hours (19:00-07:00)
• Every other weekend required
• Required to work 4 of 8 designated holiday shifts including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's periods
• Epic charting system experience preferred

• Active RN license (MO State or Compact) required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS required; NIHSS preferred
• Experience with cardiac monitoring and emergency response required
• IV therapy and ability to titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips required
• Experience caring for ventilated patients required
• Navy scrubs required
• Must be clean-shaven to ensure proper mask seal for respirator fit testing, with no exceptions for medical or religious reasons

• Provide critical care nursing to medically complex ICU patients, including management of dysrhythmias and multisystem organ dysfunction
• Responsibilities include arterial line management, central/PICC line care, and blood product administration
• Must reside more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible for consideration
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates who have worked as a traveler at this facility for more than 1 year must take a 6-month break before returning
