The Department of Community Practice is looking for a Full Time Nurse Practitioner Specialty Care or Physician Assistant Specialty Care to join our Urgent Care team in Jefferson City, MO. Join aPrimary Care team dedicated to creating outstanding healthcare experiences - in an acute setting. Our Urgent Care facility offers patients access to care in a convenient location near the heart of Jefferson City.

Our ideal candidate will have excellent diagnostic skills with strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. Theideal candidate will be a quick thinker, with the ability tomulti-task in a fast-paced environment. The Department of Community Practice at MU Capital Region Medical Center is a full-service health care system that encompasses afull-service acute care hospital, the area's most expansive clinic system, a state-of-the-art Cancer Program at the Goldschmidt Cancer Center, a hospital-based fitness facility, home health agency andthe only hospital-based inpatient rehabilitation center in the community.

The hospital has 100 acute care beds and 14rehabilitation beds. Referrals come from our 140+ employed providers who staff a system of 36 clinics in an 8-county service area of 225K people. MU Capital Region Medical Center isthe only facility in Jefferson City to offer Robotic Surgery andwas the first to be a designated stroke center. 12 12-hour shifts per 4 weeks

• Master of Science in Nursing degree.
• Missouri Board of Nursing RN or Nurse Licensure Compact multi-stateRN. When primary state of residency changes, compact state RNs mustapply under new state of residency within thirty (30) days.
• Must be granted a "Document of Recognition" from the Missouri Boardof Nursing.

• NP:
  Missouri Board of Nursing RN or Nurse Licensure Compact multi-state RN. When primary state of residency changes, compact state RNs must apply under new state of residency within thirty(30) days. Preparation as a nurse practitioner in either a Master'sprogram or a certificate program. Must be granted a "Document of Recognition" from the Missouri Boardof Nursing.
