American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Outpatient Cardiology Clinic position requiring cardiac device interrogation skills and a MO or Compact RN license.

• Outpatient Heart and Vascular Clinic setting focused on cardiology
• Independently interrogates patient cardiac devices including pacemakers, loop recorders, and defibrillators
• Oversees remote device monitoring via vendor systems, patient outreach, and correspondence for non-compliant patients
• Performs initial post-implant device checks and educates patients on device function
• Collaborates with electrophysiology physicians and care team to reprogram devices as directed
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Cerner charting system preferred

• Active RN license (MO or Compact) required in hand at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience with at least 1 year in cardiology specialty
• Current BLS certification required
• Strong cardiovascular and cardiac device knowledge required
• Must be able to lift and move objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs
• Must be able to ambulate and reach frequently throughout shift

• Triages and assesses critical device-related symptoms, providing immediate intervention or escalation as needed
• Works in a healthcare facility operating 24/7, 365 days a year
• May be required to work holidays, inclement weather days, and rotating shifts as needed
• Must be able to work at least 50% of holidays occurring during the contract term
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
• Candidates residing 51-74 miles away may be offered a local rate
• Maximum RTO of 10 days, with none permitted during the first week due to orientation requirements
