American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg position at a critical access hospital requiring 2 years of experience and MO or compact licensure.

• Critical access hospital (25-bed) Medical Surgical unit
• Cares for observation, acute, and skilled/swing bed patients
• 13-week contract on night shift (7p-7a, 3x12 hours)
• Weekend requirement of every 3rd weekend
• Uses Meditech EMR
• Travelers may float to different units
• Any scrub color accepted

• Active MO or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• PALS certification required (may obtain prior to start if not already held)
• Med Surg basic skills required
• Step down level experience preferred
• One reference required for consideration

• Provide nursing care across observation, acute, and skilled/swing bed patient populations
• Facility attempts to accommodate preference scheduling, though block scheduling is not guaranteed in contract
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
• No radius restriction in place
• Facility housing offered at a discounted rate
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
