Travel RN - Cath Lab​/EP

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab RN for a day shift hospital position requiring 2 years of experience and active MO or Compact RN licensure.

• Active MO or Compact RN license in hand (no pending licenses accepted)
• Current ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Teaching hospital and Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Skilled in cardiac cath lab procedures, circulating procedures, procedural sedation monitoring and medication administration
• Scrub procedure skills preferred
• Ability to ambulate, reach, and move objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs

• Work in the Cath Lab unit of a hospital environment
• Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours from 7:0 AM to 5:30 PM
• Call responsibilities of 9-12 days per month
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Cerner charting system preferred
• Mandatory floating to other units as assigned, including as a Patient Observer/Sitter if needed
• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting, including circulating and monitoring procedural sedation
• Facility operates 24/7/365, requiring flexibility for rotating shifts, holidays, and inclement weather conditions
• Required to work at least 50% of holidays occurring during the contract
• Routine contact with patients who may have contagious illnesses
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
• Candidates residing 51-74 miles away may be offered a local rate
• Maximum RTO of 10 days, with no time off permitted during the first week due to orientation
