Forestry Technician – Internship
Join Sierra Pacific Industries as a Forestry Technician intern, gaining real‑world experience in sustainable resource management while learning from seasoned professionals.
CompensationCompetitive hourly wage of $19.50 to $21.50 per hour and a housing allowance for qualifying individuals.
Responsibilities- Timber cruising and harvest unit layout
- Sawmill log procurement and logging administration
- Timber Harvest Plan (THP) preparation
- Wildlife and botany work with GIS support
- Road layout and reforestation duties
- Current enrollment or acceptance in a Forestry, Natural Resources, or related program (preferred)
- Ability to cross‑country hike and negotiate steep, brushy terrain
- Valid driver’s license
