LCMS Field Service Engineer

Overview

Our client, a well-established equipment service provider to companies within the life science industry, is seeking a full-time professional Field Service Engineer with mass spectrometry experience to service Agilent LCMS instruments in order to support growing demand for their laboratory instrument maintenance and repair services.

• Perform regular maintenance and repair of Agilent LC and LCMS instruments for customers, which include pharmaceutical laboratories, research institutions, and pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.
• Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and calibrations on laboratory instruments as well as the refurbishment of instruments.
• Effectively communicate with customers and account team members to troubleshoot, diagnose, provide repair updates, train end-users, and ensure full resolution of all customer needs.
• Establish fluency in relevant service documentation, including but not limited to preventative maintenance service reports, IQ/OQ documentation, and other service documentation.
• Create and properly maintain customer service logs and documentation.

• 2-3 years of experience servicing mass spectrometry instruments, and experience with Agilent LC and LCMS instrumentation (SQ, QQQ, TOF and QTOF) is strongly preferred.
• Strong background in analytical instrumentation including HPLC and mass spectrometry.
