Medical Science Liaison – Tris Pharma

OverviewThis field‑based role starts January 2026 and covers the Western U.S. (West Coast and Rocky Mountains). Qualified candidates must live within this territory.
Responsibilities- Conduct scientific exchanges with prioritized stakeholders, including Key Opinion Leaders, Centers of Excellence, and other health‑care professionals.
- Develop and maintain scientific relationships, ensuring a strong understanding of regional healthcare systems.
- Provide key scientific and clinical education on products, disease states, burden of illness, and diagnostic scales.
- Support interactions with investigators and potential investigators for ongoing and planned clinical trials; evaluate investigator‑initiated research proposals as appropriate.
- Participate in the development and implementation of a customer‑centric tactical medical engagement plan aligned with Medical Affairs strategies.
- Collaborate with field‑based Medical colleagues, Commercial peers, and cross‑functional teams to share scientific expertise and medical insights.
- Advanced degree in medical or biosciences (MD, DO, Pharm
D, PhD, etc.) with a minimum of 3 years of relevant clinical or therapeutic experience. - Minimum 1 year of MSL experience with primary emphasis on field‑based scientific exchange.
- Broad-based scientific and pharmaceutical knowledge with excellent presentation and teaching skills.
- Strong communication skills and confidence speaking about drug information and disease‑state treatment.
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical environment and appreciation for Commercial Operations, including Marketing and Sales strategies.
- Ability to influence without direct authority.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and clean driving record.
Field‑based position requiring travel by car and air up to 70% (typically 3–4 field days per week and occasional weekends).
Salary & BenefitsAnticipated salary range: $150,000 to $180,000 per year. Base salary offered is contingent on assessment of candidate’s education and experience level relative to position requirements and relevant industry standards.
