Job Description
Follow all health, safety, and environmental requirements; perform cleanup duties; handle and store materials; manage, document, review, update, monitor, and administer all HSE activities, ensuring contract compliance in areas such as Confined Space Entry, Electrical Safety, Contractor Safety Program, Laser, Ionizing Radiation, First Aid/CPR/BBP, Indoor Air Quality, Hearing Conservation/Noise Level Monitoring, Fluor Chemical Approval/Handling and Storage, Asbestos Awareness, Personal Protective Equipment, Respirator Protection, Standards Awareness, Hazmat Response Team, and Safety Training Modules.
Review and issue permits for hot work, confined space, roof work, crane operations, and laser activities. Ensure accurate filing of documentation before and after permit issuance. Keep the Site Manager and Site HSE Lead informed of HSE program issues. Ensure effective and timely communication between Fluor and the client. Conduct and document surveys, audits, inspections, and investigations on a regular basis.
Support all site disciplines with HSE issues and concerns.
Job Requirements
Mental Demands: Understand and carry out oral instructions; read and execute written instructions; work at varying heights; recognize, avoid, and report safety hazards; assemble and disassemble objects; operate equipment and power tools.
Physical Demands: Visual acuity to see hazards, warnings, and barriers; bend knees for lifting and routine tasks; stoop for positioning and lifting; lift up to 50 lbs without assistance; respond to audible/visual instructions and alarms; climb and balance on ladders, scaffolding, and structures; kneel for positioning; reach above shoulders and away from the body; demonstrate manual dexterity.
Working Conditions: Work in extreme heat or cold; in environments with noise levels above 85 decibels; in wet or humid conditions; in cramped quarters; in environments with fluctuating ventilation; both inside and outside.
