QA/QC Manager / Project Manager (Hands-On)

Avsar Construction is growing — and we are looking for a high-performance, hands‑on QA/QC Manager / Project Manager who takes full ownership in the field and delivers zero‑defect, high‑quality work.

Hands‑on means you are actively present on the job site: solving problems, verifying work, and leading subcontractors — not an office‑only manager.

• Enforcing strict QA/QC standards across all phases of construction
• Conducting detailed site inspections and maintaining accurate field documentation
• Coordinating testing and inspections and tracking all results
• Leading pre‑installation meetings, mock‑ups, and ongoing quality coordination meetings with subcontractors
• Driving subcontractor accountability and ensuring work meets plans, specs, and public‑works requirements
• Managing RFIs, Submittals & Change Orders with an emphasis on quality impacts
• Leading punch lists, corrective work, and full project close‑out
• Ensuring schedule, safety, and specification compliance through daily field presence
• Providing real‑time support and solutions to field issues
• Preparing clear reporting & communication, including daily QC notes, test logs, NCRs, and updates

• 6–7+ years general contractor experience (mandatory)
• Strong QA/QC and field supervision background
• Public Works experience (LACCD, LAUSD, CSUN) is a major plus
• Solid communication and technical problem‑solving skills
• Reliable, detail‑driven, and quality‑focused
• Must be able to be on‑site daily
• Procore experience
