Quality Manager
The Quality Manager will plan, coordinate, and direct a quality control program designed to ensure continuous product quality consistent with established standards.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Develop and analyze statistical data to determine component specifications for quality and reliability
- Create and maintain quality control objectives and implement inspection criteria and procedures
- Coordinate objectives on production procedures to maximize product reliability and minimize costs
- Supervise and maintain inspection and testing activity to ensure continuous improvement on material, facility, and product
- Interpret test data on product to determine root causes of failures and recommend corrective actions
- Maintain and interpret revisions to the quality control procedure manual
- Build rapport with vendors for the purchase of quality material for company use
- Create and direct environmental test functions
- Design and implement quality control training programs
- Coordinate, assist, and manage quality audit requests, investigate customer complaints, and adjust accordingly
Requirements include:
- Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S) or 4 years of related experience
- 6 years of experience working with the FAA
- Ability to work well in a self‑directed or team environment
- Proficiency in computer skills (MS Word, Office, Excel)
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend in English
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work overtime and/or weekends when needed
- Meet physical requirements: sitting, frequent walking, bending, stooping, climbing, balancing, reaching above shoulder level, kneeling, squatting, lifting/pushing/pulling up to 25 lbs, visual acuity and manual dexterity
