Quality Manager

The Quality Manager will plan, coordinate, and direct a quality control program designed to ensure continuous product quality consistent with established standards.

• Develop and analyze statistical data to determine component specifications for quality and reliability
• Create and maintain quality control objectives and implement inspection criteria and procedures
• Coordinate objectives on production procedures to maximize product reliability and minimize costs
• Supervise and maintain inspection and testing activity to ensure continuous improvement on material, facility, and product
• Interpret test data on product to determine root causes of failures and recommend corrective actions
• Maintain and interpret revisions to the quality control procedure manual
• Build rapport with vendors for the purchase of quality material for company use
• Create and direct environmental test functions
• Design and implement quality control training programs
• Coordinate, assist, and manage quality audit requests, investigate customer complaints, and adjust accordingly

Requirements include:

• Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S) or 4 years of related experience
• 6 years of experience working with the FAA
• Ability to work well in a self‑directed or team environment
• Proficiency in computer skills (MS Word, Office, Excel)
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend in English
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to work overtime and/or weekends when needed
• Meet physical requirements: sitting, frequent walking, bending, stooping, climbing, balancing, reaching above shoulder level, kneeling, squatting, lifting/pushing/pulling up to 25 lbs, visual acuity and manual dexterity
