Senior QA/QC Manager - Data Centre Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior QA/QC Manager to join our team in the Data Centre sector. This role is pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance across all phases of project and construction management. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of expertise in quality assurance and quality control processes, with a proven track record of delivering excellence in large-scale, complex projects.
Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive QA/QC plans, policies, and procedures tailored to data centre projects.
- Oversee and manage all quality assurance and quality control activities throughout the project lifecycle, from design to commissioning.
- Conduct regular audits, inspections, and reviews to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to identify and resolve quality-related issues promptly.
- Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions to address non-conformances.
- Provide expert guidance and training to project teams on QA/QC best practices and standards.
- Prepare and present detailed quality reports and documentation to senior management and clients.
- Ensure that all materials, equipment, and workmanship meet the required quality standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulations to continuously improve QA/QC processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in QA/QC management, with at least 5 years in the data centre or mission-critical sector.
- In-depth knowledge of quality management systems, standards, and methodologies (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and techniques specific to data centres.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in QA/QC software and tools.
- Certification in quality management or related fields (e.g., CQE, CQA) is highly desirable.
- Conduct site inspections and audits to monitor compliance with QA/QC standards.
- Review and approve quality documentation, including inspection and test plans (ITPs), method statements, and material submittals.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of QA/QC processes.
- Address and resolve quality-related issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Facilitate regular QA/QC meetings and workshops to promote a culture of quality excellence.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all QA/QC activities and findings.
