Barker Pacific Group, Inc. is seeking a highly seasoned and skilled Commercial Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a premier Class A commercial office high‑rise in the heart of Hollywood, CA. QUALIFICATIONS
  • Your Experience - Minimum of six (6) years in commercial office building management.
  • Industry Knowledge - Strong understanding of commercial office leases, operating expense recoveries and ability to partner with brokers on leasing activity for property.
  • Software Knowledge – Proficient with Yardi Voyager. A strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and COVE platform.
  • Communication – Strong written and verbal ability to communicate effectively to tenants, vendors, contractors, brokers, and interdepartmental to convey team goals. Effective ability to present information and respond to questions presented by leaders, clients, and the public.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Property Management - You will be responsible for physical property maintenance by partnering with our engineering team and using vendor services for the repair and maintenance needs and ensuring a prompt, best‑in‑class response to maintenance issues. You will also be responsible for developing and administering a capital improvement plan by evaluating property needs and the ROI of proposed projects.
  • Overall Leasing – Your knowledge of the asset(s) will be valuable as you support the leasing process by participating in leasing meetings, broker engagement, and tenant relations. Additionally, you will have oversight of tenant improvements, including space planning, bidding, contractor selection, contracting, and executing while complying with the lease agreement.
  • Lease Administration – Oversight of all leases, lease amendments and lease abstracts which will require you to review and track critical tenant and property information such as specific lease clauses, options, and operating expense parameters.
  • Financial Administration – Review, code, and process vendor information into Yardi. Prepare monthly reporting financial package for BPG and partners while developing and administering the annual budget to ensure alignment with ownership objectives, financial goals, and industry standards. Ensure accurate calculation and recovery of operating expenses and reimbursements, including completing annual CAM reconciliation. Produce and implement all annual budgets, including necessary capital expenditures for property with appropriate approval.
  • People Leader – Manage a team consisting of an assistant property manager and/or maintenance staff. Partner with HR on recruiting, onboarding, scheduling, training, development, and evaluation as aligned with company standards.
