Job Summary

Our community at Almond Heights seeks a Dishwasher to support our dining operations. Key responsibilities include transporting, sanitizing, and cleaning dishes and utensils, managing dish storage areas, and assisting with other kitchen duties as needed.

Shift Schedule

• Wednesday‑Thursday: 11:00 am – 7:00 pm
• Friday: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
• Saturday‑Sunday: 8:30 am – 2:00 pm

Essential

Job Duties (percent of time)

• Prepare, clean, and organize dish storage and washing areas – 100%
• Wash all dishes, utensils, cooking tools, pots, and pans – 90%
• Complete general cleanup and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas – 60%
• Empty trash – 10%
• Maintain proper sanitation levels of the dish machine and sinks – 50%
• Ensure water temperature is correct for optimal cleaning – 50%
• Maintain sanitizer logs daily – 50%
• Transport food to the CFL program as needed – 10%
• Assist cooks – 30%
• Serve residents – 10%
• Ensure cleaning supplies are in inventory – 10%

Non‑Essential

Job Duties

• Minimize waste and misuse of supplies and equipment.
• Maintain professionalism with personnel, residents, family members, and guests.
• Promote a positive, friendly team‑work attitude.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or executives.

Requirements

• Age 18+ or proper work permit and authorization.
• Background clearances as required.
• Health screening and negative TB test results.
• Preferred experience in restaurant or food‑service operations.
• Preferred safety certification.

Physical Demands

• Mobile with ability to transport dishes and utensils.
• Stand for long periods and bend.
• Lift and push up to 50 pounds.

Pay

$16.63 – $17.13 per hour
