Food and Beverage Attendant

Overview

Responsible for maintaining the kitchen and all food and beverage stations within the dining room.

• Ensures all food and beverage stations and areas are clean, and items are stocked, fresh, and presentable at all times.
• Ensures all kitchen and dining equipment are in clean and orderly condition.
• Washes worktables, walls, and refrigerators.
• Assists in washing dishes, pots, pans, and trays as directed by management.
• Transfers supplies between storage and work areas.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Must follow the manufacturer’s guidelines in working with cleaning agents within the food and beverage department.

• High School Diploma or GED Certificate preferred.
• Previous experience in the food and beverage industry preferred.
• Basic English reading, writing, and conversation skills.
• Must have speed and accuracy in order to maintain maximum efficiency.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to operate dishwashing machines.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules and hours, including nights, weekends, special events and holidays.
• Must follow safety guidelines and grooming standards.
• Able to maintain composure at times of high volume.
• Must obtain food handler card within 30 days of employment.
• Must apply for, receive, and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Agency.
• Native American hiring preference applies.
