A long-standing non-profit organization located near downtown Los Angeles is looking for a Staff Accountant on a contract-to-hire basis. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for account/bank reconciliation, general ledger management, assisting with month-end, and journal entry preparation. The Staff Accountant will also review project expense management as well as ad hoc projects and administrative tasks.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or related discipline is required.
• At least two years of general accounting experience (i.e., general ledger management, journal entry preparation, account reconciliation, month-end assistance, etc.).
• Must have non-profit industry experience.
• Must have very good time management and communication skills.
• Strong MS Office knowledge is required.
• Pay up to $42/hr.
