Under the supervision of Employment Program Manager I, the Employment Program Representative‑Disabled Veterans' Outreach Program (EPR‑DVOP) Specialist assists veteran customers faced with significant barriers to employment through the delivery method of self‑service, facilitated self‑help, and staff‑assisted intensive services. Promotes the programs and services offered by the Employment Development Department‑Workforce Services Branch to job seekers, employers, workforce partners, and other community stakeholders.

Provides employment services to veteran job seekers and recruitment assistance to employers following prescribed workforce policies and procedures. Prepares and makes formal presentations regarding EDD‑Workforce Services, benefits and features of CalJOBS to veterans, and engages audiences to utilize the America’s Job Centers of California as a one‑stop for employment and training services.

Follow guidance under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), Wagner‑Peyser Act and primarily the Jobs for Veterans' State Grant (JVSG) funded activities.
