The Team Member is responsible for interacting with customers and team members, supporting selling initiatives, and performing assigned tasks while delivering a Legendary Customer Experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)As a Team Member, you should be available, flexible, adaptable, and service-oriented. You must be able to fulfill all of the following requirements:
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
- Work scheduled shifts, including varied hours, days, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
- Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA:
- Greet the Customer.
- Uncover Customer Needs & Wants.
- Recommend Product Solutions.
- Ask to Add Value & Appreciate the Customer.
- Perform a combination of duties during 95% of your day, including:
- Operate cash register/computer following cash handling procedures.
- Recover merchandise.
- Participate in freight process.
- Complete Plan-o-gram procedures.
- Assemble merchandise.
- Perform janitorial duties.
- Execute price changes/markdowns.
- Operate forklift and cardboard baler (unless under 18).
- Assist customers with loading purchases.
- Ensure a Legendary shopping experience.
- Maintain the safety and well-being of poultry, including sanitation and care.
- Complete all documentation related to these duties.
Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Required Qualifications
Experience:
No experience required; retail, farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is preferred.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required. Ability to read, write, and count accurately is essential.
Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Interpersonal skills and ethical conflict resolution.
- Indoor and outdoor work environments with moderate noise.
- Hard surfaces like concrete and asphalt; adequate lighting and temperature.
- Shifts typically range from 4 to over 8 hours.
- Follow safety guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
- Move and transfer merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Push/pull merchandise with equipment (e.g., pallet jack).
- Lift or reach overhead occasionally.
- Stand, kneel, twist, crouch, squat, bend, stoop, and climb ladders frequently.
- Operate store equipment safely.
- Read, write, and count accurately for documentation.
- Communicate effectively with team members.
- Handle birds/poultry safely.
- Complete required training and certifications.
