Merchandise Associate – TJ Maxx

Join the TJX family and help create an outstanding customer experience at a leading off‑price retailer. This role is located in Des Peres, MO at the TJ Maxx Store 0329.

• Deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with all shoppers.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment.
• Adhere to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards.
• Cross‑train to support multiple store areas as needed.
• Participate in store recovery, shrink reduction, and safety initiatives.
• Accept constructive feedback and support a positive store culture.

• Ring purchases/returns accurately and process returns.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor.
• Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day.
• Maintain all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards.
• Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
• Adhere to all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Support store shrink reduction goals and programs.
• Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Flexibility to work a schedule that supports business needs.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Capable of multi‑tasking and responding appropriately to changes.
• Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Effective teamwork with peers and supervisors.
• Retail customer experience preferred.
