Overview

The Field Activity Support Team (FAST) Team Member travels to stores within an assigned district to own and execute “start to finish” variable tasks such as planograms, merchandise and fixture assembly, and signage maintenance. The FAST Team Member interacts with customers and Team Members while delivering a Legendary Customer Experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts and have the ability to work varied hours, days, nights, and overtime as dictated by business needs.
• Communicate proactively with the District FAST Supervisor on work completion, issues, and offer solutions to overcome.
• Complete planograms and resets accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain visual merchandise standards.
• Perform store-specific measurements.
• Complete store layout initiatives.
• Perform accurate cycle counts.
• Complete Tractor Way top cap process.
• Hang store signage.
• Assemble merchandise, fixtures and PDQs.
• Perform detailed recovery and review planogram integrity.
• Deliver on our promise of Legendary Customer Service through GURA:
  • Greet the Customer.
  • Uncover Customer’s Needs & Wants.
  • Recommend Product Solutions.
  • Ask to Add Value & Appreciate the Customer.
• Ensure the customer has a Legendary shopping experience that differentiates from the competition.
• Provide peak coverage as needed (e.g., Day After Thanksgiving).
• FAST Team Members may be required to perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Experience:

Prior retail and/or merchandising experience is required. Farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is preferred. Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license.

Education:

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required. Regardless of education level, FAST Team Members must be able to read, write and count accurately.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills Or Abilities

• Farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to resolve issues ethically and with minimal conflict.
• Self-directed with the ability to complete assignments with little to no assistance.

Working Conditions

• Generally favorable indoor environment with moderate noise.
• Shifts vary by store but are typically at least 4 hours and may exceed 8 hours.
• Travel between store locations in personal vehicle is required; often with long periods of time.
• Adhere to Company safety training and guidelines to promote a safe and productive work environment.
• Indoor floors and outdoor lots are hard surfaces (concrete, asphalt); lighting and temperature are adequate.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to travel as needed to support district needs.
• Ability to push/pull merchandise up to 2,000 pounds with proper equipment; lift or reach merchandise overhead as needed.
• Frequent standing, kneeling, twisting, crouching, bending, stooping, and climbing ladders.
• Ability to access all areas of the store and operate store equipment (computer, cash register, etc.).
• Ability to read, write, and count accurately to complete documentation.
• Ability to handle and be in contact with birds/poultry.
• Ability to move and transfer merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the store and move around the store for a full shift.
• Non-sedentary position with the stamina to move quickly and safely in store and outdoor areas.
