ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Sales Associate, also known as a “Product Specialist,” at Skechers, you’re joining a team focused on growth, customer connections, fashion, and comfort. In this entry-level retail role, you’ll engage with customers, provide exceptional service, and contribute to the store’s success. Whether you’re passionate about retail sales, skilled as a cashier, or seeking a position with flexible hours, this role offers room to grow.

COMPENSATION:

• Starting rate: $17.00
• Hourly pay range: $17.00 – $18.04

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Customer Service: Engage with customers to provide personalized advice on Skechers products, ensuring a positive experience.
• Sales Goals: Contribute to achieving store and individual sales targets; develop retail skills and product knowledge.
• Store Operations: Organize displays, restock shelves, and manage merchandise, including lifting up to 50 pounds and staying on your feet.
• Cashier Duties: Process payments accurately and leave customers with a positive final impression.
• Product Knowledge: Stay informed about Skechers products to enhance customer experience and sales.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a welcoming store environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Eager to deliver excellent customer service in an entry-level retail role
• Motivated to meet and exceed sales goals
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable with cashier responsibilities
• Flexible schedule availability, including evenings and weekends
• Energetic, enthusiastic, with a sense of urgency

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
• Experience in retail, customer service, or cashier roles is a plus but not essential
• Must be at least 18 years old
