• Greet and assist customers promptly:
  Approach and acknowledge customers immediately, providing assistance and handling multiple customers efficiently.
• Understand and meet customer needs:
  Assess customer needs by sharing product knowledge, answering questions, directing them to merchandise, and offering recommendations. Engage in suggestive selling while staying informed on product availability.
• Promote store events and promotions:
  Inform customers about current store events, promotions, and activities to enhance their shopping experience and drive sales.
• Resolve customer concerns:
  Address customer issues and use product knowledge to offer alternative solutions, aiming to turn returns into exchanges when possible.
• Communicate with management:
  Regularly inform management about merchandise restocking, service requirements, and any customer feedback in a timely manner.
• Support team and company goals:
  Collaborate with the team to achieve store and company objectives, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.

• At least 16 years old
• Available to work a flexible schedule
• Comfortable with or willing to learn technology (such as cash registers, handheld and mobile devices)
• Good communicator with the ability to engage with customers
• Able to handle customer interactions courteously and professionally
• Use basic information-gathering skills to solve problems
• Ability to learn procedural knowledge through on-the-job training

• Operate a cash register
• Move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs and place/remove items up to 5–10 feet high
• Ascend/descend ladders to retrieve and stock merchandise
• Move, kneel, bend, twist, and stoop as needed in stock room and sales floor
• Communicate with customers, managers, and coworkers in-person and by phone
• Work a flexible schedule including day, evening, weekends, and potentially overnight shifts
• Identify and follow instructions regarding merchandise layouts and schedules
• Remain in a standing position for extended periods
