Inventory Specialist- Fine Jewelry

Summary

The Inventory Specialist plays an important role in supporting inventory management, sales and operations by ensuring jewelry items are checked in accurately and information entered into our inventory management system is correct. Provides back up support to sales floor as needed including packaging / shipping of items and participating in store opening / closing procedures.

• Enter invoices and memos.
• Manage price changes in the Edge.
• Print tags to keep up to date with current retail pricing.
• Work with marketing team on projects as needed.
• Receive and checks in stock and special orders.
• Tag stock as it is received.
• Enter data for Meta tags and write Meta titles / descriptions.
• Back up for other inventory positions.
• Communicate with other store location to identify any transfers, price changes, and return to vendor, as needed.
• Manage inter-store transfers
• Mail out packages for sales team to clients.
• Participate in store set up and closing procedures.
• Act as back up on sales floor as needed.

• College degree preferred.
• Minimum two years' inventory experience in fine jewelry or luxury retail.
• Experience with social media and marketing a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with inventory software and POS systems. Edge experience a plus.
• Ability to handle fine jewelry with care, accuracy and security awareness.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Time management and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Knowledge of gemstones, precious metals, and watches a plus.
