The Assistant Manager is responsible for overseeing daily store operations, including staffing, inventory management, customer service, and safety compliance. This role supports the Store Manager in ensuring high-quality service and delivering a positive guest experience.

• Maintain a valid driver’s license and access to an insured vehicle for delivery when required.
• Navigate deliveries within the designated area using maps and GPS.
• Operate all store equipment, including ovens, point‑of‑sale systems, and hand trucks.
• Stock ingredients, maintain cold storage conditions, and prepare food items.
• Process orders over the phone and in person, ensuring accurate receipt of payments and correct change.
• Apply verbal, written, and telephone skills to communicate with customers and team members.
• Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen with speed and accuracy.
• Provide orientation and on‑the‑job training for new team members.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and store safety standards.
• Assist in inventory management and oversee quality control of all products.
• Support scheduling and staffing requirements for shift coverage.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Excellent navigation and location skills within local delivery areas.
• Ability to perform basic mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and handling cash transactions accurately.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with computer keyboard or touch screen ordering systems.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and move items up to 50 pounds.

• Walking, climbing stairs, and moving between store and delivery vehicle.
• Lifting and carrying product up to 50 pounds.
• Standing for extended periods and performing repetitive hand tasks such as shaping dough and operating kitchen equipment.
• Exposure to varying temperatures (from 36°F to 90°F+), food odors, and occasional dust.
• Ability to operate in confined spaces such as walk‑in coolers and navigate sharp edges and mechanical parts safely.
