The ChallengeAdobe is looking for an Account Director who is responsible for achieving sales targets through the sale of Adobe’s Digital Marketing product lines. As part of our enterprise sales team, you will work with Adobe’s largest customers across the Retail industry, creating long‑term relationships and strategic account plans. The Account Director will achieve this through solution selling and direct, face‑to‑face customer contact, building relationships at all levels, especially with C‑suite executives, and navigating the customer’s organization.

- Approach the business strategically and set a multi‑year north star vision and strategy grounded in value, proactively identifying and achieving your sales path.
- Be an innovative and resilient problem solver, leading to solutions that better serve customers.
- Communicate effectively and persuasively to uncover company‑viable solutions.
- Build strong executive relationships across multiple fields (CIO, CTO, CMO, CDO).
- Identify and gain alignment on compelling business issues to be addressed.
- Demonstrate industry expertise, thought leadership, and a grasp of the macro‑economic environment as a trusted advisor.
- Articulate the Adobe story, unique value proposition, and how Adobe’s solutions align with customer vision and drive ROI.
- Lead, collaborate, and orchestrate Adobe’s entire ecosystem and partners to drive outcomes.
- Collaborate to drive consensus and action, owning territory and account strategy.
- Manage large, sophisticated sales processes involving legal, deal desk, product marketing, product support, and other Adobe customers.
- Lead collaboration with external 3rd parties, including tech partners and system integrators.
- Meet sales quota and run an efficient business.
- Advance and close sales opportunities through successful execution of the sales strategy and roadmap.
- Build strong account plans at the beginning of the year and lead regular account planning meetings.
- Maintain a rolling 4Q pipeline, quickly qualifying opportunities, and collaborate with Marketing, Inside Sales, Partners, and channels to funnel pipeline into your accounts.
- Minimum 5–7+ years with a proven track record selling solutions to Marketing, IT, and brand or line of business in large enterprise organizations.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, partnering with other Adobe teams (Sales, Support, Engineering, Product & Marketing).
- Strong understanding of digital experience technologies and SaaS within the Retail space.
- Validated Sales Excellence and a creative, problem‑solving approach.
U.S. pay range for this position: $227,500 – $357,800 annually. Pay varies by work location and may depend on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Tcl includes base + commission, with potential for long‑term incentives.
