Carlson Software is seeking a motivated, independent, technical/sales professional that must have a background as a Surveyor, Civil Engineer, EIT, SIT or CAD Designer to join our team in California or Nevada. If you enjoy autonomy, building relationships, being part of a team, and growing opportunities then keep reading.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AutoCAD software and familiarity with the Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, and Construction industries. This person will be responsible for the sales of the entire land development product line -- including instrumentation and software.

The role will be responsible for managing our growing network of dealers in these regions, as well as direct sales and support for current users, workshops and other training events, attending regional events, coordination with the Carlson marketing team, and serving as Carlson’s feet-on-the-ground resource for the regions.

Requirements (Must Have):

5+ years of CAD software experience

Background as a Surveyor, Civil Engineer, EIT, SIT or CAD Designer

Experience with both office or fieldwork

Ability to travel regularly (California and Nevada)

Ability to work on diverse tasks in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

Must speak fluent English

Also Helpful:

Knowledge of Carlson Software’s software and hardware products

Experience with technical support of hardware and software

Strong communication, presentation, and demonstration skills

Experience in training and instruction
