Curriculum Specialist (K-12 Math) – California – Savvas Learning Company

This role is based in California and covers both California and Hawaii. The Math Curriculum Specialist works closely with sales, product, and services teams to advance Savvas products, services, and solutions in the Pacific Market. The specialist partners with decision‑makers in schools, states, and districts to support the sales process and deliver curriculum solutions.

• Contribute to and exceed sales quotas in California and Hawaii.
• Develop and deliver compelling presentations covering all six customer touch points.
• Build and maintain relationships with sales teams and key K‑12 decision‑makers.
• Partner with sales and product teams to advance Savvas Math products and services.
• Maintain expertise in Savvas products and certifications to support the sales cycle.
• Demonstrate deep knowledge of Savvas Math print and digital solutions.
• Conduct product activation training and professional learning workshops for districts and conferences.
• Gather and relay customer feedback to improve products, marketing, and sales strategies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align and resolve customer satisfaction issues.
• Provide high‑level customer service and foster satisfaction and loyalty.

• At least 5+ years of Ed‑Tech experience with digital solution presentation.
• Expert knowledge of education theory and K‑12 math market trends.
• Strong presentation and communication skills for audiences from superintendents to paraprofessionals.
• Proficiency with presentation software, hardware, and multimedia delivery.
• Ability to conduct brief, pointed conversations with district experts.
• Self‑starter with proactive initiative and independent project management.
• Exceptional organizational skills for efficient workflow and project execution.
• Collaboration mindset and team‑oriented partnership.
• Comfortable with technology use and rapid technology solution grasp.

• 60% travel within California and Hawaii; occasional travel to other territories.
• Must be able to handle high‑volume work, multiple priorities, and a demanding environment.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
• Candidates must reside within California.
• Compliance with Savvas learning travel and expense policies.

• Bachelor’s degree required;
  Master’s preferred.
• 5+ years of K‑12 education experience, including classroom teaching.
• Experience selling and servicing in the education market.
• Experience networking with high‑level district administrators and engaging decision‑makers.
• Public‑speaking experience creating engaging presentations for teachers, parents, and administrators.
• Advanced certification or specialty training preferred.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus (not required).

• Assist with special projects as assigned.
