Job Summary

You support growth for Venbrook’s wholesale and commercial insurance team.

You research targeted industries, identify decision makers, and secure meetings for sales leaders.

This role fits you if you are a recent graduate or early in your career.

You want exposure to insurance and business development from day one.

You learn by doing and want a clear path forward.

Core Responsibilities
  • Research businesses in defined industries and build prospect lists
  • Identify decision makers and contact information using online tools
  • Reach out by phone and email to secure meetings for sales leaders
  • Share a short overview of Venbrook’s offerings when asked
  • Ask basic qualifying questions to confirm interest and fit
  • Log outreach, responses, and outcomes in the tracking system
  • Follow up with prospects who show interest but have not booked
  • Answer general questions and route detailed inquiries to the team
  • Coordinate schedules, send reminders, and track upcoming meetings
  • Share insights on trends, objections, and opportunities
Experience and Skills
  • Entry level background with interest in insurance or business
  • Recent graduate or early career professional
  • Clear communication and comfort speaking with decision makers
  • Ability to research industries and organize information
  • Strong follow up and ownership of tasks
  • Comfort working toward outreach goals
  • Basic experience with Excel, CRM, or similar tools helps
Learning and Development
  • Exposure to commercial and wholesale insurance markets
  • Hands‑on experience with prospecting, qualification, and outreach
  • Development of business communication and sales fundamentals
  • Industry knowledge built through real conversations
  • Career path into underwriting, brokerage, sales, or operations
