Job Overview

Sales Associate at Coach – a global fashion house in Rosemont, IL.

Responsibilities
  • Provide a personalized customer experience, upholding Coach's Service and Selling Models.
  • Build and maintain on‑going customer relationships and clienteling strategies.
  • Use Coach’s tools and technology to support relationship building.
  • Drive business through sales strategies, clienteling, sourcing new customers and maintaining ongoing productive relationships.
  • Cross‑sell and encourage product add‑ons that meet customers’ needs.
  • Follow up with customers to influence/close sales.
  • Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and backroom; comply with visual merchandising standards.
  • Process transactions, returns and exchanges using POS systems.
  • Assume daily operational tasks including cash wrap duties and inventory replenishment.
  • Collaborate with management to create short‑ and long‑term strategies to achieve personal metrics.
  • Represent Coach as a brand ambassador and demonstrate Coach’s Selling and Service expectations.
  • Adapt techniques to support overall store financial results.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and foster teamwork.
Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of sales experience in a luxury retail environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of current fashion trends and competition.
  • Basic computer skills – use of iPad/laptop, Mobile POS and Internet.
  • Experience with cash register systems and walkie‑talkie communication.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 25 lb routinely and up to 50 lb occasionally; ability to bend, kneel and climb.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
  • Adaptability to fast‑paced work and changing priorities.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays and high‑traffic periods.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Base pay range: $15.00–$19.50 per hour.
