Neo Genomics has an opening for a Territory Business Manager located in the greater Inland Empire, CA or Las Vegas, NV area. The role will focus on expanding and maintaining the company’s clinical and laboratory portfolio within the assigned territory, working closely with key stakeholders across pathology, community oncology, hospital oncology, academic centers, reference labs, and private physician groups.
Key Responsibilities- Identify opportunities to expand share of care and maintain business within the current customer base while acquiring new customers in community oncology.
- Own the entire sales process for all assigned accounts, including prospecting, needs assessment, solution presentation, negotiation, and closing.
- Engage with Oncology Sales Specialists (OSS) and Client Success Specialists (CSS) to increase account value and ensure a smooth handoff through the customer journey.
- Collaborate with the Key Account Manager (KAM) to target and support Tier‑A accounts.
- Develop and maintain a territory coverage plan in partnership with the Regional Manager, ensuring accurate and timely entry of all activities and opportunities in Salesforce (SFDC).
- Provide product in‑service training and “best‑practice” demonstrations to key decision makers.
- Gather and communicate market feedback on products, competition, and customer needs to the Regional Manager and Marketing team.
- Maintain detailed records in Salesforce to support account updates, sales forecasting, and reporting.
- Proactively address customer challenges and coordinate cross‑functional solutions with marketing, operations, and technical support.
- Adhere to all company policies and applicable regulations, including HIPAA and data confidentiality requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or a business‑related field required (MBA preferred).
- 5+ years of direct sales experience in a clinical and/or laboratory market environment preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills at all levels of an organization.
- Proven record of achievement in prior sales positions and ability to close large‑value deals.
- Excellent oral, written, telephone, and presentation skills.
- In‑depth knowledge of the clinical and laboratory market environment and product portfolio.
- Ability to learn and retain product‑specific information and position the features and benefits to customers.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Valid driver’s license for the state of residence and ability to travel as required by the role (up to 75% of the time). Some overnight travel may be required.
