Quinn Company, your local Caterpillar store, is hiring an Inside Sales Rep in City of Industry, California.

The Inside Sales Rep will be responsible for selling Caterpillar Parts, Service, and Insurance Products, enhancing customer satisfaction, building customer base, and providing timely quotations to support business growth.

Compensation

This position offers an hourly wage plus commission, with an estimated annual salary of $70,000 to $90,000.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with service teams to identify turnaround times, upsell opportunities, and schedule repairs, promoting customer loyalty.
  • Review reports and documentation to ensure accurate quotations, employing methods like job walks and delegation for scope of work.
  • Influence customers regarding technician recommendations and manage service events.
  • Promote upselling of Electrical Services and bundled contracts.
  • Seek private or government bid opportunities.
  • Create and pursue new business opportunities using exception reports.
  • Resolve customer service issues as assigned.
  • Act as liaison between customers, technicians, and sales teams.
  • Work with technical teams to ensure accurate, profitable quotes.
  • Maintain positive relationships and open communication with all departments.
  • Continuously improve product knowledge through training and courses.
  • Qualifications

    Minimum two years of related experience, knowledge of Caterpillar or competitors, proficiency with dealer systems (DBS, TMI, CWS, Saleslink, IMACS), and soft skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet applications. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a professional degree or certification is a plus. Valid California driver’s license is required. Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills are essential.
