Security Officer - Automotive Gate Driver Full-Time in Claycomo, MO

You will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Allied Universal team member in an access control post within the automotive industry, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing outstanding customer service. Your presence and attention to detail will support a secure environment for the location.

• Control access to the location by verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel and visitors.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with security-related inquiries and directions.
• Enforce site-specific policies and procedures as directed by Allied Universal and the client.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to observe and report any security-related concerns or irregularities.
• Maintain accurate and detailed logs of all activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences during the shift.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, including following evacuation or lockdown procedures.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
