As a Security Officer - Auto Plant Gatehouse in Claycomo, MO
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a variety of industries such as automotive. In this access‑control role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, manage entry points, and help deter security‑related incidents. • Monitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
• Assist with the implementation of site‑specific policies and security‑related procedures as directed by Allied Universal and client leadership.
• Provide customer service by responding to inquiries and offering directions or information as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and/or security‑related incidents.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, security‑related hazards, or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Support emergency response activities as required by site procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.

• Valid driver’s license required in the state where the job is located.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED required by the client.
• Limited on‑site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants with criminal histories considered in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
