Job SummaryThe Access Control Officer is responsible for ensuring only authorized personnel enter the Bell Canyon community by verifying identification and logging vehicles. In addition to gate control, the officer patrols the community, reports incidents, and maintains a secure environment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Access and Use Entry Program
- Log in through computer or tablet.
- Enter visitor names into the entry program.
- Follow all entry procedures and policies.
- Ensure information is accurate and efficient.
- Check IDs and ensure only authorized personnel enter.
- Alert office of unauthorized construction or material delivery.
- Provide polite and professional customer service to visitors, residents, and owners.
- Patrol and Reporting
- Patrol community when not at gate.
- Respond to resident calls and reports: homeless persons, suspicious activities, lost pets, disturbance of peace, loud music, parties, etc.
- Accurately document incidents and forward to supervisor.
- Report damage to property, vandalism, unusual activity, complaints, and emergencies.
- Install transponders in authorized vehicles and maintain entry station cleanliness.
- Perform special tasks as instructed by office, including traffic control and running generators during outages.
- Communicate with emergency services and send community e‑blasts as directed.

- Valid driver’s license and acceptable DMV record
- Personal vehicle for business use
- 1‑2 years of experience in a customer‑service role
- High School Diploma required
- Ability to sit, stand, and operate business equipment
- Ability to walk community for 1‑2 hours continuously
- Typical office environment with low noise
- Work in security booth and drive around community for inspection
- Community includes animals (horses) in designated areas
$18.00 – $20.00 per hour
