Surveillance Investigator

We currently have career opportunities for experienced, self‑determined, and highly motivated Surveillance Investigator candidates to join VRC Investigations in efforts to deter and combat insurance fraud. The position is field‑based, hourly, and non‑exempt, requiring daily travel within the designated city/territory.

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct stationary, mobile, and covert surveillance and background checks.
• Document findings in clear and concise reports, capture video evidence.
• Testify in hearings and trials as needed.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.

Applicants Must Meet the Following Requirements:

• Access to a suitable surveillance vehicle.
• Willingness to travel 75% of the time.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently with little or no supervision.
• Must pass a drug test and pre‑employment test.
• Excellent overall computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to analyze information, develop logical questions, and accurately report findings.
• Upon job offer, attend 1 week of paid formal training at the VRC corporate office; followed by on‑the‑job and specialized training.
