What You’ll Do:
Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel and visitors.
Assist with security-related procedures in accordance with site-specific policies and protocols.
Provide customer service by answering inquiries and offering directions or assistance to employees, visitors, and contractors.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required.
Support emergency response activities and communicate with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as needed.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized access and promote a secure environment within the auto industry location.
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
