Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer - Plant Access Control in Claycomo, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. In this role you will be responsible for access control at a major automotive location, monitoring entrances, conducting routine patrols, and providing exceptional customer service to all visitors and staff. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver’s license.

- Provide customer service, carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
- Monitor and control access, verifying credentials and authorizations of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
- Maintain detailed records of access control activities, incidents, and observations as required by site procedures.
- Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and contractors, providing assistance and directions as appropriate.
- Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and client representatives to address security-related concerns or issues that arise during the shift.
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
