Garda World Security Services is now hiring a Surveillance Security Officer. In this role you will analyze security systems to identify potential threats, monitor and respond to incidents, and conduct foot patrols to maintain the safety of our premises. The position requires vigilance, strong observation skills, and the ability to write detailed reports.

• Location: City of Industry, CA
• Schedule: 16–40 hours per week with 3 shifts
• Shift 1: Wednesday–Sunday, 2:00 pm–10:30 pm
• Shift 2 (A): Monday & Tuesday, 2:00 pm–10:30 pm
• Shift 2 (B): Wednesday & Thursday, 10:00 pm–6:30 am
• Shift 3: Saturday & Sunday, 6:00 am–2:30 pm
• Hourly wage: $21 / hour with Daily Pay available

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity.
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports.
• Respond quickly to incidents and potential threats.
• Conduct regular patrols on foot or with company vehicle to ensure the safety of the premises.
• Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors.
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies.
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
• Deliver good customer service.
• Foot patrol surrounding hardware warehouse areas.

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• State security license (BSIS Guard Card) and 32 hours of additional BSIS security training (additional training can be obtained during hiring).
• Minimum age 21 years.
• Valid California Driver’s License and clean MVR.
• Will pass an extensive screening process.
• Strong report writing skills.
• Sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Proficiency with technology and computer knowledge.
• Good customer service skills.
• Comfortable walking and standing for long periods.
