PT/Flex Security Officer – Hiring immediately in Gray Summit, MO. Position pays $19.57 per hour, paid weekly. All shifts available.

Qualifying candidates eligible for a 401(k) with employer match (up to 8%) for those working at least 20 hours per week and completing six months of service.

• Must be 21 years of age or older and possess a valid driver's license.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Previous security, law enforcement and/or military experience is a plus.
• Must be comfortable working with live animals.
• Must have scheduling flexibility.
• Having/the ability to get a valid MO Security license.
• Must be able to work weekends, weekdays, holidays, and in all weather conditions.

The Flex Officer position provides trained support by working shifts that open due to illness, call‑offs, weather, vacation, or other causes. This enables Sunstates to provide continual, uninterrupted service while protecting the health and work balance of personnel.

• Will be trained at various posts and/or facilities based on operational need.
• Schedule will vary according to operational need and may include short‑notice assignments.
• Some shifts will be scheduled in advance; others may require immediate coverage.
• Work any shift scheduled in advance within availability defined on the schedule.
• For short‑notice call‑ins, expected to work at least 80% of requested shifts; refusing more than 20% may impact employment status.

High School diploma or equivalent.

• Valid Drivers License.
