Lead Low Voltage CCTV & Access Control Technician
We are seeking a Full-Time Lead Low Voltage Technician with extensive experience in CCTV & Access Control and Cat6 Cabling. Experience with Avigilon, adding Avigilon cameras to a Server/NVR is preferred. High-Tech Security is a leading integrator in Los Angeles for CCTV and Commercial Low Voltage, serving primarily the hospitality and property management industries. We have been in business for over 30 years and take great pride in our work and customer‑service experience.
We partner with leaders in the CCTV industry such as Avigilon, Verkada, Exacq Vision, and Hik Vision.
- Able to add cameras and configure a recorder
- Oversee and manage a Low Voltage crew
- Check on various job sites throughout the day and ensure quality control
- Have over 5 years of experience configuring IP cameras and NVRs
- Experience with access control and card readers (not only cabling but programming)
- Able to install both CCTV & access control systems
- Have a valid driver’s license and insurance
- Provide excellent customer service
- Be able to lift 50 lbs
- Work full‑time, Monday‑Friday, 9‑5
- Be able to port‑forward routers for remote view of cameras (not only QR codes)
- Be able to tone cables/troubleshoot CCTV & access control issues in the field
- Be able to work immediately
- Build racks, dress and organize cables
- Always leave a job site clean
- Any training needed for the right candidate
- Tools as needed
