Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Supervisor to lead and manage directional drilling crews installing fiber optic cable in a primary area, typically overseeing 1 to 5 crews. The ideal candidate must be dependable, organized, and capable of ensuring smooth daily operations. In this role, you will manage the install and maintain underground cables and related infrastructure, ensuring proper connectivity for telecommunications, electrical, or other systems.
You will also be responsible for digging trenches, laying conduits, and connecting cables, all while adhering to safety standards and industry regulations.
- Oversee daily field operations for directional drilling crews.
- Manage and support 1 to 5 crews installing fiber optic cable.
- Ensure project timelines and safety standards are met.
- Communicate clearly with management and clients.
- Previous supervisory experience in directional drilling or related industries.
- Willingness to trravel nationwide as needed.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Receptive to guidance and committed to continuous growth.
- Must pass a drug test.
- Must pass a background check.
