Field Technician

*** experienced foreman
*** that specializes in commercial and industrial door installations, service and repair. Willingness to work overtime a must. Electrical and welding experience is beneficial.

* Job Requirements:

*** - High school diploma or equivalent preferred.* - 3–5 years of experience in using hand and power tools* - 3-5 years of commercial coiling overhead door installation and repairs* - Stick welding experience* - Ability to install edge of docks and weld on bumpers* - Electrical experience with installing motor operators and gate operators* - Ability to run floor loops* - Ability to troubleshoot high speed doors* - Experience using hoists or cranes to handle steel coils (training/certification a plus).
* - Knowledge of 18-to-24-gauge sheet metal properties and safe handling practices.* - Ability to read drawings and use basic measurement tools.* - Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality, safety, and documentation.* - Good communication and teamwork skills.* - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods.* - Ability to climb extension ladders
* - Experience with safe operation of scissor lift and forklift
