ADB is a leading provider of wireline and fiber optic installation for commercial, service provider, and government clients. As a Foreman, you will lead the installation of fiber optic cable projects, managing crews, operating equipment, and driving safety and quality standards.
Roles and Responsibilities- Provide skilled manual labor and operations including hand digging, traffic control setup, equipment operation, fiber placement, and material handling.
- Read and interpret utility print and maps.
- Operate various equipment (directional drill, mini, plow, hydro) with at least one year of independent experience and full safety training.
- Lead project setup and shutdown, including traffic control across highways, side streets, parking lots, and downtown locations.
- Maintain safety practices and lead crew in safety compliance.
- Communicate directly with customers, subcontractors, homeowners and address any complaints or issues.
- Train crew members on fiber installation, print reading, equipment operation, OSHA requirements.
- Manage material and equipment loading/unloading from vehicles to yards and job sites.
- Perform on‑the‑job training with Senior Foreman or Supervisor to develop trade skills.
- Promote hazard identification through pre‑task reviews.
- Perform other duties as requested.

- Exposure to uncomfortable or distracting noise levels.
- Exposure to all weather conditions including hot, humid, cold, rain, snow, ice.
- Required protective equipment: safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, hard hats, steel‑toed boots.
- Minimum 2 years utility construction experience as crew leader or foreman.
- Minimum 1 year heavy equipment operating experience (hydro, drill, mini, plow).
- Valid driver license with clean driving record.
- CDL license (or ability to obtain).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Starting pay of $30.00 per hour, subject to adjustment based on skills, experience, and qualifications.
