As an HVAC Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining, repairing, and optimizing HVAC systems and related mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment. Your responsibilities will include preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, blueprint and schematic interpretation, and hands‑on work such as brazing, soldering, welding, and pipe fitting.

$35 – $37 per hour

• Maintain, repair, and optimize HVAC systems and associated equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Conduct brazing, soldering, welding, pipe fitting, and fabrication.
• Interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and service motors, pumps, compressors, ducts, and controls.
• Ensure compliance with company safety guidelines and training requirements.

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Valid C‑20 license.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• 3 years of related HVAC/Electrical maintenance and repair experience in a commercial facility.
• Ability to obtain airport security clearance.
• Availability to work day or night shift, including weekends and holidays.

• Experience in airport operations.
• Understanding of Johnson Control Systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Basic proficiency with computers and common software applications.

Regular standing, walking, use of hands and fingers, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing, ladder work, and lifting or moving up to 50 pounds. Working in outside weather conditions on an airport ramp and in confined spaces. Specific vision abilities required include close proximity vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Good hand‑eye coordination required.

Airport operations setting with vehicular traffic, exposure to moving mechanical parts, high or precarious places, outside weather conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, cold, and vibration. Noise level typically loud. Work on an airport ramp around aircraft and heavy equipment.
