OverviewAs a Contents Technician, you are part of the restoration team responsible for assessing, packing, and inventorying personal belongings damaged by fire, water, or other disasters. You help prepare items ranging from furniture and electronics to documents and clothing for cleaning, restoration, and safe storage, ensuring nothing is overlooked.
You will work with colleagues to clean and restore items using specialized equipment and cleaning agents. You follow safety protocols and maintain detailed records throughout the process.
In a fast-paced environment, attention to detail and organization are essential. This role offers meaningful hands-on work and the opportunity to help people rebuild what matters most.
Responsibilities- Respond to job sites affected by fire, mold, wind, water, or natural disasters
- Sort, clean, pack, and transfer contents to prevent further damage
- Maintain inventory logs and a safe, organized work environment
- Assemble, disassemble, and clean contents as needed
- Support structural cleanup when required
- Work efficiently under time constraints and in harsh conditions
- Available for overtime, weekends, and 24/7 on-call response
- Valid driver s license required
- Restoration/construction experience, preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
