Maintenance Technician (Maintenance)
Beltservice Corporation has an immediate opening for an industrial Maintenance Technician who will provide maintenance and repair for all facilities and equipment. This position can be on 1st shift (Monday through Friday 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.) or 2nd shift (Monday through Thursday 3:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.).
Responsibilities & Duties- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, steam, pneumatic, and control systems.
- Perform preventative, corrective, and emergency maintenance on a wide range of unique manufacturing equipment.
- Execute both simple and complex repairs on equipment and facilities.
- Utilize CMMS software (iPad) to manage and document work orders.
- Support continuous improvement by helping strengthen our preventive maintenance program.
- Read and interpret manuals, schematics, ladder logic, and technical drawings.
- Collaborate with leadership, vendors, and contractors to complete projects.
- Occasionally support off-hour emergencies or weekend projects (overtime).
- Mentor team members and share technical knowledge.
- High school diploma or GED required; technical coursework preferred.
- 3+ years industrial maintenance experience (5+ preferred).
- Trade knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, welding, machine controls, and electrical are highly valued.
- Self‑motivated, purpose‑driven, reliable, always wanting to improve.
- Enjoys variety in work, learning new things, and adaptable to unique challenges.
- Strong problem‑solving ability with a sense of urgency.
- Calm, team‑oriented communicator with strong people skills.
- Safe work habits with ability to lift 50+ lbs and move throughout a large facility.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Forklift/manlift operation experience.
- Weekly pay.
- Starting wage from $30.00-$36.00/hour.
- Uniform program.
