About This Role
We are looking for a Service Electrician to handle a variety of residential electrical tasks. In this role, you will troubleshoot, install, and repair electrical systems while ensuring compliance with safety standards and codes. You will diagnose issues, perform necessary repairs or replacements, and communicate effectively with homeowners to explain problems and solutions. Strong technical expertise, problem‑solving skills, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service are key to succeeding in this position.
Responsibilities- Perform residential service work by diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical systems, identifying issues, and executing repairs to restore functionality.
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, including wiring, outlets, switches, and circuit breakers, to ensure reliable operation.
- Communicate with customers to explain electrical problems, present repair or replacement options, and provide clear recommendations based on their needs.
- Handle physical demands of the job, such as pushing, pulling, climbing ladders, crawling into tight spaces, and lifting heavy objects safely.
- Perform basic wiring tasks, including installing disconnects, whips, branch circuits, breakers, and other electrical accessories, ensuring proper connections and functionality.
- Utilize a thorough knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials commonly used in the electrical trade, including proper handling and maintenance.
- Apply knowledge of electrical codes and regulations to ensure all work is compliant with local, state, and national standards, and maintain safety on the job site.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

- Adaptability, flexibility, and creativity as a collaborative team player.
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills to address and resolve electrical issues.
- Valid driver’s license with at least 3 years of driving experience.
- Over 2 years of electrical experience, preferably with a focus on residential projects.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally as required by the job.
- Lifting 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
- Climbing ladders, accessing attics, navigating tight spaces, driving, entering crawlspaces, pushing, carrying, pulling, using hand tools, and performing fine detail work.
- Ability to drive.
- Working in various environments, including indoor and outdoor settings, attics, crawlspaces.
- Ability to stand, walk and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone.
- Use hands to handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms.
- Regularly stoop, kneel, bend, and crouch.
- Work requires regular exposure to extreme temperatures both indoors and outdoors, such as heat or cold, and adverse weather conditions such as wind, rain, ice or snow.
