Primoris Services Corporation is seeking a skilled electrician to join our crew at industrial construction sites and fabrication shops. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing quality electrical work, maintaining safety and compliance, and mentoring helpers on site.
PrimaryJob Responsibilities
- Practice safety rules and report any hazards.
- Follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
- Perform quality work as determined by project specifications.
- Maintain accountability for all tools and materials at the end of each shift.
- Work effectively as part of a team.
- Perform terminations up to 1500 V AC and DC.
- Read construction drawings and understand construction specifications.
- Install underground cabling and conduits.
- Run basic electrical test equipment.
- Train, supervise, and mentor helpers.
- Comply with the company’s drug and alcohol abuse policy.
- Pass physical examinations and pre‑employment screening as required.
- Climb ladders, scaffolding, and work at elevated heights while maintaining balance.
- Work in confined spaces such as towers, vessels, and excavations.
- Carry up to 50 lbs of tools and materials; assist when lifting heavier items.
- Stand or walk for long periods and work extended hours on uneven surfaces.
- Maintain a clean shaven appearance and wear required personal protective equipment, including respirators, when necessary.

- Exposure to extreme heat or cold, humidity, rain, loud noise, and potential chemical hazards.
- One to four years of experience as an electrician (depending on skill level).
- Post‑offer drug/alcohol screening and physical evaluation.
- Completion of New Hire Orientation Quiz.
- Ability to meet all safety requirements, including being clean shaven, wearing long sleeves, steel‑toe boots, and necessary safety equipment.
