Maintenance Technician - Weekends

CPAY Staffing & Recruiting is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for a full-time opportunity with an established manufacturing company in Maryland Heights, Missouri.

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining production equipment and facility systems. Approximately 80% of the role will focus on machine repair and preventative maintenance, with the remaining 20% supporting general building and facility maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience working with industrial manufacturing equipment. Experience with Hydromat Rotary Transfer Machines is highly preferred.

Key responsibilities include:

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair production machinery and equipment
• Perform preventative and scheduled maintenance to minimize equipment downtime
• Maintain and repair Hydromat Rotary Transfer Machines and related manufacturing equipment
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and PLC ladder logic
• Perform welding, fabrication, and basic machining as needed
• Install, modify, and repair production equipment and components
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
• Utilize toolroom machines and maintenance equipment safely and effectively
• Perform general building and facility repairs as needed
• Document completed maintenance and repair activities
• Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area

Qualifications include:

• Previous industrial maintenance or manufacturing maintenance experience required
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and equipment repair skills
• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
• Working knowledge of PLC ladder logic and electrical troubleshooting
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred
• Experience operating toolroom machines preferred
• Hydromat Rotary Transfer Machine experience is highly preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Ability to work independently and prioritize maintenance needs
• Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
