Monarch Investment & Management Group is hiring a Traveling Maintenance Technician to join our National Traveling Crew based in St. Louis, MO

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, problem‑solving, and traveling across the country. You’ll support apartment communities that need extra help—working with a skilled team to complete repairs, unit turns, and property improvements.

• 3 weeks traveling - (50 - 75% in the St. Louis area, 25 - 50% out of state)
• 1 week off at home (12 weeks off + regular PTO)
• Assignments across 83,000+ units in 26 states

• $24.00 – $28.00 per hour
• Bonus: $2,500 bonus after 90 days
• Consistent 50-hour work weeks (overtime available)
• $50/day per diem while traveling
• Annual raises up to 5%

• Complete maintenance work orders based on priority
• Perform unit turns / make-ready preparation
• Interior & exterior painting and staining
• General maintenance (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall)
• Assist with renovations, capital projects, and major repairs
• Support on‑site maintenance teams
• Complete special projects as needed

• 1+ year of maintenance experience (apartment or related field preferred)
• Experience with drywall repair, painting, and carpentry
• Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems
• Some experience with HVAC and water heaters preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• Good communication skills
• Commitment to quality service

Candidates may be asked to demonstrate basic maintenance skills during the interview.

• Ability to travel for extended periods (3 weeks at a time

• Must pass background check and drug screening
